Saturday, 9 August, 2014. According to the contents of the Airline Alert that has the pastor’s passport photograph glued on it, any airline that flouts the ban and transports Bishop Oyedepo to the UK, is liable to a fine of £2,000.
Speaking on behalf of Bishop Oyedepo, a spokespersons who refused to divulged his identity, claimed such reports are unfounded and baseless without any iota of truth in it saying, “It’s nothing but blatant lie and falsehood.”
Although, I learnt that Bishop Oyedepo had been under investigation by the Charities Commission since 2012. Investigators are looking into the activities of his Living Faith Church, also known as Winners Chapel, and the way it gets money from parishioners.
Preliminary enquiries have accused the UK branch of Winners Chapel, run by Bishop Oyedepo’s son, of cynically exploiting supporters. As a result of the investigation, the Home Office has instructed the British High Commission in Abuja to issue what is known as an Airline Alert, which bars any carrier from bringing him into the UK.
To stop the rumor, a spokesperson for the airliners, Mrs. Salma, said there was no such information as Airline Alert against Bishop David Oyedepo.
Trust me, Papa is not bothered by all these rumors and you shouldn't too.

So, tessy which one do you want us to believe now. There is evidence that they actually barn him and here you are saying some people claims its baseless rumor.
@kleb, you're free to believe what you want to believe now. It's pure rumor because there is no reason to barn him when they don't have any dirty on him.
One thing I know is that the church will continue to march on and the gate of hell shall not prevail. Bishop will overcome even if the rumor is true.
Is there any evidence of fraud cos theres a huge difference btw an ongoing investigation and solid evidence.

The prince of this world came and found nothing in me. I'm sure its just a rumor from haters. Bishop Oyedepo is greater than this small thing.
Heaven will surely punish whoever that started this rumor.
