I've been waiting to see if he will respond or not and guess what he did. Korede Bello took to his Instagram page this morning to reply critics and also share some reactions from people about his church performance on Sunday April 5th.

u can give ur testimony in church but as a servant not as a minister...that's d difference. no one is condemning him as an individual. but the act itself isn't good, he went the as a minister and special guest, probably paid to do so. tomorrow maheeda will come and give her own testimony in church half naked bcos she also deserves a right to Prais e God abi?
So bcos his song was not composed by Frank Edward or Panam Percy Paul,it doesn't glorify God abi?
In as much as the message being passed across isn't worldly, I do not see anything wrong in his performance in a church/alter.
Let me get this straight, I don't think y'all are not comparing alters of these new generation churches with the ones depicted in the bible. am sure even ur pastor doesn't stand a chance to preach on the sacred alter, one fire will just descend from the high heavens and strike him dead.
You'd be surprised korede is holier than most pastors.
Tomorrow wen he releases a song that talks about sex and he whines and grinds his body on stage with a woman, I hope d pastor remembers the day such artiste was invited to sing on the altar of God. Muslims won't be caught dead doing things like these but d way we Christians insult God in d name of being liberal tho.

Its all about the message in the song. The lyrics isn't worldly so its ok. They should let this matter rest jare.

I beg help me ask them , someone sang a song that glorified God , just becos he is not a gospel singer they feel he is not worthy to sing the song in church ....
Over righteous people , I bet on the day of judgement when God start selecting his own e go be like film trick when una see those that will be in front queue.

Not every song is suitable for d house of God,lewd or not...I feel uncomfortable when dey sing ayefele's 'bend down bend down n see what d Lord can do' n '5,6,7,8,9 alayo mi ni' in church...dos songs r not gospel but juju genre of music

If Redeem Abi winners could do boys2men mama in church why not this beautiful song thats giving glory to God for all of our success stories.
Don't mind them! When people like Praiz and a few of the others (the guy that sang "Jesus I thank you wellu wellu") will be doing all sorts of "worldly things" after making hit gospel songs.
ven some of Kirk Franklin's song sound worldly and people did criticize him but he never stopped. Have you heard Erica Campbell's of Mary Mary new beat "I luh God?" People are coming down on her like crazy. So my point is, there is no right or wrong way to sing praises to God. people will talk no matter what. Some people are just hypocrites.
Guilty ke. Lol thanks to Korede, we had 267 salvation in church that day. Keep hating on him and watch God keep blessing him.
Korede am 1 of ur fans and I love ur music. But truth be told; u r not a gospel artist and therefore u shldnt be allowed to sing or "perform" on d Alter of God! Alter is not a Stage!! Its a sacred place in d church!!

I think Korede is d problem here. Pastors in Harvester church are the problem. If they had invited me I would hav come to minister self. So it's not about Korede its about your so called pastor who are canal enough to invite him to the alter of God
Abeg leave the pastors. God or let me say Holy Spirit must have told specifically to invite Korede to come and lift the soul of His children? I leave the rest for you to decide
That song(Godwin) can pass for a gospel track but it is not!! And korede have sang that song in wordly concerts in front of ppl that are not born again and on a stage where wordly musicians have performed! Now he's singing the same song in d church of God on a sacred alter! No way! That is totally not acceptable to God! Am not judging but truth cant say we should not say it! Its like inviting Pasuma to sing in the church! Ow does that work?? And don't say "Oh dats Pasuma" cos both of sings the same kind of music.
It's amazing how we judge people and say I'm not judging ooh. If Jesus comes today, who will stand. Everyone's walk with God is private. We only know David's excesses bcos the bible recorded them. Yet, he was chosen above his brothers that appeared more proper in public eyes. Even to the prophet. The question should be his he a believer? Does he have a walk with God? That he does secular songs music may not mean he does canal music or he is canal. You do secular jobs too. Does that mean u are canal? Then u should also quit the bank job, d IT job or sports job & work full time in church. God looks at our intentions not appearances. That's why David's brothers were rejected. While u judge, remember d last thing u did in different dark b4 u throw ur violent stones. If he has done anything or sang anthing that clearly defies God, then you can talk. However for now remove the firewood in ur eyes b4 u talk of d spec in his.
