Mariam's Brother said she should be executed as ordered by their Prophet if she refuses to denounce Christianity
Unknown to many people, the brother of the Sudanese Christian woman, Meriam Ibrahim, who was sentenced to death for abandoning her Islamic faith for Christianity, was actually turned in to the authorities by her own family members.
Al Samani Al Hadi Mohamed Abdullah was the one who handed his sister to the authorities because, according to him, his family are "Muslim people."
In a new interview with CNN, his brother says his sister was "given a...
magic potion" to bewitch her into leaving Islam – and should be executed for doing so.
He claimed that Ms Ibrahim, 27, was born as Abrar Al Hadi but changed her name when she was drugged by her husband, Daniel Wani. And if she did not return to the devout family fold, she should be hanged.
"It's one of two; if she repents and returns to our Islamic faith and to the embrace of our family, then we are her family and she is ours. But if she refuses she should be executed. Her now-husband Daniel – this 'priest' – he gave her magic potions drink. Or something that allowed him to convert her."
Mr Al Hadi said that his sister had cut off all ties with the family and disappeared – until "we discovered it was because they were hiding her in their house."
He continued:
"When she was caught, our sister's face was different, the way she looked at us was different. She was bewitched, like an unconscious person. She didn't know any of us. When she stood in front of the court she said her name was Meriam Yahya Ibrahim. We were shocked by that name."
And he said that the family would "not deny Islamic law" – even if that meant the execution of his sister.
When the CNN reporter said, "but this is your
own sister..your sister", he replied "But why
would I indulge my humanity... This is what the law states and we will never allow any distortion of that. If she dies
we will have enforced God's word. The
solution is that she is executed. As we have
been ordered by our Prophet, peace be
upon him: 'He who barters his religion you
must kill.' The world should not involve itself
in our family affairs. This is a family and
these are our private affairs. We don't want
outside involvement."
Am I the only one thinking that this man and his family should be prosecuted? What he just said above is not acceptable!

Imagine the seed of hatred sown into the life of these people! God forgive him
When he said 'prophet', was he referring to their prophet Muhammed or the prophet in their mosque cos after the Muslim people will claim its not what quran taught them!
Abeg, are these people reading different quran?
And who gave them the right to hand her over to the authority? What a religion!
He's saying 'execute her' like its not killing her he's talking about. how could u wish ur own sister dead when u should be the one begging for her life.
I hear jealousy!
I concurr Anne Girl. She was not raised with them and they feel even more jealous when she married a citizen of US. They are all hyprocrite
He should go back and listen to himself kos he sound just like Shekau the leader of boko haram. Infat, he sounded exactly like him when he said...

Why are we still giving this people unnecessary publicity? Let them try and kill her now!
I dare them to hang her and let's see what will become of the Muslim religion and believes all over the world.
Have you guys heard of Religious World War?!!!
You're right o @taiwo. I would have thought it was shekau spealing if Tessy had not mention him as her brother.
I must admit he sounded exactly like what shekau said recently "kill the infidel"
