I did a lot of digging and enquiries and I finally got some details, but I am going to leave out the name of the church and the pastor who dedicated the baby, because its a little difficult to verify the authenticity of the story, but my source told me how it all happened.
"It happened in a church (name withheld) around the IPO axis in Lagos directly opposite the MTN mast in Baruwa around Ipaja area of Lagos State. The Pastor (name withheld) dedicated the baby on Sunday 1st June, 2014 and the baby died right there in the church.
It was an unusual thing to have seen a pastor dedicating a baby without...
carrying the baby on his hand. What the Pastor did was to sprinkle oil and he prayed without even touching the baby. When someone who was invited by the couple, Godwin and Amaka Mark asked them why the pastor wasn't carrying the baby, they stated that it was a norm in that church for babies to be dedicated in that manner. Soon after the benediction, the Pastor disappeared from the church and when the parents of the dead baby realized that their child was no more breathing, they called the pastor on his mobile phone.
The pastor refused to come back to the church stating that he had already taken off his clothes. He was further told that the baby which he had just dedicated was dead and his response was, "it is well"!
The bereaved parents had to go and bury their dead child with the assistance of the invited guests.
The following day, the pastor sent some people to pay a condolence visit to the bereaved couple. The mother of the deceased child said that the pastor knows about the death of her child and when she expressed her displeasure over the Pastor's actions, the emissary went back to inform the pastor.
The pastor has threatened to sue Mrs Amaka Mark if she does not retract her statement within 7days.
Mr and Mrs Mark made it very clear to the pastor that they were ready for any legal tussle with him. Now the pastor has been pleading with the couple in order not to make it public."
In as much as I found this hard to believe, I have no reason not to believe that it actually happened! We are waiting for the pastor to respond to the allegations!

If its true that the pastor behaved the way u said he did then the pastor knows something that we don't know. He should be investigted.
The stroy get comma, Omo Tessy. Was the baby dead before the pastor left the church cos u said he quickly left the church. And if the baby is dead before living, what was the mother looking at that she did not know thaat her child is no more breathing. Pls let's get the story straight
Sometimes am forced to wonder what sort of pastors we are breathing these days. A member called u to tell u that the baby u dedicated just died! What's the next course of action? Is it not to ask them to bring the baby so that u can pray for him and if he wake up revival will be ignited. What did he do? He said he will sue the bereved parent. That's totally unfair! What are we preaching then. After sum people will say we should not talk against pastor! Pls tessy don't delete my comment like the last time o
Tessy, what's the name of the pastor? He should be called for questioning. Why is he hiding if he has nothing to hide
Guys, before we start accusing the pastor falsely I think we should look at the baby very well, she look unhealthy to me o! Am thinking its a setup or sumtin close

I agree. The baby in the pics is not looking unhealthy she's looks dead. I think the pix was takn after his death
