For Crying Out Loud, Is This Faith or Bravery?
Michelle Jenkins, a member of Jehovah Witness church has lost her life after rejecting blood transfusion during the birth of her daughter. The 28-yr-old pregnant woman was said to have lost a lot of blood while giving birth to Ella Marie, her new born daughter, so much that she needed an urgent transfusion but based on her faith that forbids all Jehovah Witness from receiving transfusions, she rejected the offer.
Reports says that Michelle...
died soon afterwards leaving her new born daughter motherless!!!
Meanwhile, other members of Michelle's church have praised for her courage even in the face of death.
With deep respect for her faith, doctrine and and personal decision, I humbly ask IS THIS FAITH OR BRAVERY!!!

I have friends and I understand the teachings of Jehovah Witnesses (JW), The truth is what the Bible teaches referring to blood transfusion it is not wrong, it was not against his faith, I pray for her family
Senseless Death#May her soul find Peace.
at u have to understand is everybody has his or her own faith....d bible said blood is sacred and it Shud b treated as such ....who knows even if dey gave her blood she wud still die...so y break her faith........i know she will b remembered in God's new world
you guys doctrine is somehow contradictory. You guys do not accept blood transfusion. You guys do not celebrate birthdays, valentines days. Also you guys do
not participate in elections. You do not vote for ordinary folks and I am wondering
why are you guys in this world self? This world is not for Jehovah witnesses. You should be in heaven already.
Seriously??? Even jesus during the last supper shared his body and his blood to the disciples in what we now call holy communion.
Very brave of her; faced with death and the option to have blood or die and she chose to die. She had balls ! And not enough love for that child.
That's her faith... I won't term it madness it's her belief.....
If we are to analyze each and everyone's belief it's all tantamount to madness even those that claim to be atheist..
May her soul RIP
When it comes to issue of faith and beliefs,i have for long learnt to see it as a personal conviction and would rather sit on the fence than say ill of other people's system of faith.I cant call it madness or faith coz i dont know what gives that person such a strong conviction.Just coz i cant do it ,doesnt mean the other person practising it is crayyy.I believe she has her reasons which only God can judge her as being right or wrong. But as 4me o,they should give me a river of blood if that will save my life biko!
Hmm Dee belief is a complex thing o.cant really say much since im not in her shoe
If her God wouldn't withold his only begotten son, yet sent him to die for her sins...
It's her belief.. let her God judge.
Faith and her belief, may her soul rest in the bossom of the Lord .
Now she has rendered the lil one motherless! Smh
A very very avoidable death...RIP
she no get sense if I waz d hubby I wud av frced d transfussion.
