'I Punched A Pregnant Mid-wife In The Stomach' Tessy Narrates Her Experience During Labor!

In as much as this is my blog, I almost didn't want to post this because you all know what Tessy Nkennor's Diary is all about, but then I thought about it... "if I can post about other gospel celebrities getting married, giving birth and buying new cars, why can't I post mine after all am a gospel celebrity too." lolzz.

So am going to post this like any other gospel gist worth hearing.

Bestselling author of The Last Virgin Alive and ace Blogger, Tessy Nkennor, gave birth to a baby boy on the 3rd of November 2014 at The Redeemed Christian Church of God Maternity Center at about 1.08pm, weighing 4.4kg.

She took to her social media to announce this saying... I Came! I Saw! I Conquered!

When asked how it feels to give birth to a baby weighing 4.4kg, she said...
the first contraction started at about 10pm on Sunday. It wasn't serious because it didn't last and in that moment when the second one came she knew she was going to give birth the following day.

The goodnews was that she was not at home. She had decided to spend the weekend with her mother in the Lord, Pastor (Mrs.) Adeleke. It was around 1am that the contraction became serious and she had to wake her up. Immediately, Pastor (Mrs) Adeleke took her car key and drove her down to RCCG Maternity Centre that night.

According to her, she said:

"We arrived at exactly 2.47am and by this time the contraction was recurring every 6 minutes. I was checked and I almost fainted when I was told that my dialysis was 2cm open when it's suppose to be 10cm.

"I spent the next 8 hours dancing 'makosa' with contraction as it became consistent and stronger. It was not funny at all. The pain that came surging through my body cannot be explained. It cannot be described. I thought I was ready for this, but nothing could have prepared me for the pain that shook my whole body. I was ready to do anything to make it stop. If they had suggested they cut me open just to make the pain go away I would have agreed. At least I would be given a sedative and I won't feel anything. I still can't remember how many times I spoke in tongue, but by this time I was pratically rolling on the floor, screaming and yelling at everyone to shut up and leave me alone because they can't possibly imagine what I was passing through. How can you tell me to take it easy or to manage the pain when I was feeling like the pain will burst me open?

Now I know why Jabez mother cursed her own unborn child. Although, it didn't cross my mind to abuse anyone or my baby for that matter, but it took every fiber of my bone not to say something else so I kept speaking in tongues and shouting 'God, save me!' '

It was around 11am that the midwife came to check me again and that was when I punched her in the stomach. I didn't know she was pregnant, but the pain I felt when she came to check me was more painful than the contraction. She squirmed in pain when I punched her. She warned me saying she's carrying a baby.

An hour later she came to check me again and I punched her the second time. Oh, the pain I felt. It was indescribable, inexplicable and unbearable. I held onto the bed, held onto anything in sight, but it was like the midwife was deliberately inflicting pain on me. Honestly speaking, I tried everything within my willpower not to do anything stupid, but I was unable to contain the pains. Then I punched her again in the stomach.

Thank God that we have understanding midwife in RCCG, Maternity Center because she only cautioned me. I can't even remember if I apologize or not.

God took over the delivery and that's all I can say because I didn't stay up to 15 minutes when my baby came out. I remembered that the midwife asked me to push because my baby's nose was stuck between the cervix and may not be able to breathe if he stay too long there. Hearing that alone made me push like no man business and my baby slipped out miraculously.

Now, ladies and gentlemen... back to blogging.
