Am not sure am seeing anything wrong with what I read from the review of the movie titled: "Black Jesus". As a matter of fact, the movie hasn't even been aired and a lot of Christians are seriously demanding that the movie be cancelled.
I was surprised when the Christian activist network of One Million Moms and a flurry of pastors took offense at the black character and are calling on the Adult Swim network to ban the movie.
Well, in the movie, a man was costumed to act as Jesus Christ only that he...
was with black complexion different from the white complexion we are use to seeing. He lives in Compton, California and goes on a "daily mission to spread love and kindness throughout the neighbourhood with the help of his small but loyal group of downtrodden followers."
Apart from that, there's nothing unusual until Pastor David A. Rogers of the House of Prayer for All Nations Ministries in Chicago openly calls the show "utter foolishness and disrespectful". In fact, he wrote a letter to the Turner Broadcasting system expressing his outrage.
Well, I don't see anything wrong in creating an African side of the story of Jesus Christ except there's more to the story that we are yet to see.

If Pastor David has a specific reason why the movie must be banned let him come out openly and say so so that we will not be thinking otherwise
