Is This Really Necessary? Quran-Burning Pastor Jones Set to burn 2,998 Quran

You all know how our Florida controversial Pastor Terry Jones has made headlines many times for burning the Muslim Quran. Well, this time around Pastor Jones had organized a rally in Dearborn, Michigan announcing his plans for 2014 9/11 anniversary, and part of the event will include burning of Qurans.

"We're going to do what we got stopped last year," he said. "We're going to have the burning of 2,998 Qurans."

(I still don't know why I can't bring myself to say hallelujah to that!)

Pastor Jones actually took up this mission twelve years after the...
attacked on World Trade Center by some Islamic Terrorists.

The last time he was stopped, he was actually on his way to Polk County Florida when he was arrested by Police with about 2,998 Quran soaked with kerosene.

But that was not the first time Pastor Jones has planned Islamophobic events, but this time Dawud Walid, an executive leader of American-Islamic Relations, is advising Muslims to simply ignore Jones. "The last time he came here, there was no big to-do. Mr. Jones is just coming here to get his 15 minutes of fame renewed," he told Press and Guide.

Personally, I think its not necessary to burn Quran as in what does that make us as a Christian? Anyway, I stand to be corrected!

In as much as it's right to burn unholy book, I think Tessy is right. What is he going to gain by burning the book. Can he burn all the quran in the world? Then it's pointless because he's only making the world see Christianity as being ruthless.
