Vanguard reports that the Governor
of Niger state, Babangida Aliyu, where Charity resides, ordered that the
wedding to be stopped when he got information that the young lady's parents
were not informed of her upcoming wedding. What a nice thing to do!
Imams and other Muslim clerics were
already gathered when the wedding was called off.
Charity (now Aisha) has since been in the custody of the state government, residing with the deputy Governor, Alhaji Musa Ibeto.
The National body of the Christian
Association of Nigeria(CAN) had through its Niger state Chapter
Chairman, Dr Musa Dada, informed the State's Commissioner on
Religious Matters and the Attorney General of the state, about the upcoming
wedding between Aisha and Barrister Tijani who stood in as her lawyer when she
sued her parents for interfering in her decision to change religion.
I hope I will not be sued along with
Pastor Raymond for what am about to say because I’m of the opinion that whatever
Charity is doing right now, she’s being driven by her love for Tijani, her
Muslim guy. That’s what love can do to a lady. Love will make you do
unthinkable thing, but the moment that love is fully explored, your eyes will
open and you will realised that you are merely being pushed by love.
Well, what I think Charity needs is
prayer that her eyes be opened before it’s too late. Being married into a
muslim family is the worst decision she will live to regret. Trust me, she’s
coming back to Christian fold.
If I were Pastor Raymond, I won’t
interfer in her decision to become a muslim. I would rather pray for her. Oh
Lord, open Charity’s eyes to see the light one more time in Jesus name.

Tessy, am sure they will sure you and your blog. Lol. You are right. Charity is blinded with love and its obvious that she's being deluded by the guy. Her parent should give her time and her eyes will open. I join you to pray that its sooner than later.
Here is what happen behind the scene guys: charity change to Muslim last year because Tijani made it clear to her that he want to settle down this year and he can't marry her while she's still a Christian and she had to prove to him that she truly love him by converting to Muslim.
Charity has no choice because she's madly in love with him. So last year she declared her conversion and this year decided to marry her heartthrob.
Just my imgination thinking anyway
I just feel sorry for her cos she's blinded. She will discovered that marrying to a Muslim is not as easy as she thinks.
Pls Tessy tell Charity that love that blinded her now is not enough to keep a marriage o. It is sweetening her now that she want to be a Muslim cos she want to be with her man, but when the music is done, she will be faced with all the digusting Muslim activities she will be forced to do.
A man that organised a wedding without your parent is a boko haram member. jokes apart, this should tell her what sort of man she's getting married to.
Am seeing a marriage that can't last. Let's give it time and you will say I said so. They will soon scatter the whole thing herself. I see divorce
We should not crucify the girl now. Reading between the lines you will see that she and her parents are not always in good times and that might make her dislike Christianity. Though am not in support of her conversion, but I think some parents should not provoke their children to anger which I feared might be what happen in this case. We can only pray for Charity.

If nah Muslim girl try to convert to Christian, they will sentence her to death, but in this case, she sued her parent to court. Nice try!
