“If adopted daughter of President had been kidnapped while in school, would she enjoy a state wedding? - Pastor Tunde Bakare

During his sermon yesterday on 'Exposing the Lions in the Streets', the General Overseer of the Latter Rain Assembly, Pastor Tunde Bakare, preached saying,
"I heard that the wife of the President is going to lead a protest over the abduction of the girls in Borno State. I salute her wisdom. But somebody needs to tell President Goodluck Jonathan, the Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces, that protests and marching the streets will not...

free the girls who have been in the custody of the terrorists for two weeks.
Pastor Tunde Bakare believed that the Federal Government had treated the abduction of the schoolgirls with levity, wondering if it was not because none of the principal officers of the administration was affected by the abduction saga.
He went further preaching that if the adopted daughter of President Jonathan had been kidnapped while in school, she wouldn't have enjoyed a state wedding.
"If the adopted daughter of the President had been kidnapped like the Borno girls while she was in school, would she have enjoyed a state wedding? Somebody needs to tell Jonathan that these abducted girls have parents."

"What will free the girls is action and the resolve to do the right thing. He needs to take action against the countries that have been aiding the sect in transporting the girls across their borders and marrying them.
"We are not just the biggest nation in West Africa on paper; we need to show it by taking action against Niger, Chad and Cameroon.
"The President must summon the ambassadors of these countries and demand that they should fish out the girls wherever they are held and given an ultimatum to do so or face serious action; that we shall storm those places. We can't sit down here and be talking about international treaty while some countries put our national security at risk."
He demanded that President Goodluck Jonathan should "take action" against Niger, Chad and Cameroon reminding his members that when the United States marked Osama Bin Ladin as a terror leader to be taken out, the US did so in Pakistan.
Honestly, I beg to agree.

I agree 100%. I have always stated that we need to take the war on terrorism into this countries. We cannot fold our hands and say they went into Niger or chad. So what? Go and get them and let's see what the countries will do. How can we watch this countries become safe heaven and fold our arms. Rubbish

Bakare, you are on point. the best way to defend is to attack. When we attack, they will take us serious. Let take the war to the enemies territories. Not war within only.

Bakare, you get it wrong. I am not GEJ fans nor sympathizer. This is not the right time to make more enemy but friends. What Nigeria needs to do now is to make friends with his neighbours and carry them along. We need to convince them that Boko Haram is enemy that if allowed to have their tentacles in those countries they will do what they are doing in Nigeria in those countries soon. Do we have the capability to take on those countries?

Can you hear yourself making friends with neighbouring countries that supported and aiding boko haram or have you forgotten that this three countries are fully Muslims Nations and the region Nigeria shared border with in this countries controls 90% of Muslims.

Pls let's not turn this into war. If you think war is rice and beans pls ask ur parents what war really looks like. We can only pray for God's intervention.

See the way you are talking about war as if we have competent security in the country. How can we go to war with a whole country when we can't even defeat a common group within our nation. Pls the odds are against us.
