without the ring? What effect will it have on our union? What's the big deal with the ring since we can still do it after? What's the need for the ring when we already did the traditional wedding and or sign register in court?

I don't see the reason for the ring since I don pay her dowry. That's the most important thing.
Tessy, u dey fall my hand o. I no dey see anything. Anyway, ring or no ring, the most important thing is the traditional marriage cos that's wat i do. I marry my wife in court and i pay her dowry in full and final settlement. Lol! forget ring joooo.
Ring is important if you dont have anything to hide. If not why do you run from the ring except you don impregnant the girl or you no get clear mind.
Tessy, I vote for 'with ring' because it means you're honoring God and bringing him into your marriage. I mean how will go into marriage with just your parents blessings? My dear you need God's blessings more!

@Beebee, ebi like say u no dey go to church cos if u dey go church u go no say church no dey task couples on money issue. the money they collects are the offering collected that day so which money are u talking about abi se na church send u to go rent hall and call party for reception. That one no be churh send you.

Hehe, na vote dem say make u vote na argument u dey do. ring is paramount. Me I no go marry any man who no won go church marry me. I be masqurade that u wont marry me in village alone.
