Yay!!! I’m Celebrating 171,278 Visits in 6 Months, 422 Followers With 15,235 Visits Per Month!!!

Wow!!! This is amazing. I mean this is God! It's 6 months of blogging, but I call it "6 Months of Grace" and I must admit... it's been God all the way.

I started blogging officially on the 5th of April, 2014 and am pleased to announce that in just 6 months, Tessy Nkennor's Blog had reached:

171,278 Visits +

422 Followers +

3,231 Comments +
400 Blog Posts 

By the grace of God, we now have an incredible traffic of about:

522 Daily Visits (on average)

15,350 Monthly Visits (on average)

30 Daily Commenters (on average)

At the moment, I have a...
minimum average of 225 visits per day and that's if I did not post anything in 24 hours, but if I make one or two posts you should be expecting an average of 520 visits per day.

So, as it is, am already having 15,000 visits per month.

Actually, when the thought of blogging crossed my mind, I only had the goal of at least 100 visits per day. I was like, "God, if you can make at least 100 people to visit my blog per day..."

I must tell you that as of that time, even 50 visits per day seems so impossible, but I made my first post and I had just 25 visits. Then I made the second post and I had 48 visits. It was on my 26th post that I had the amazing visits of about 125 pageviews. From that day till now I've been enjoying an average visits of 500 pageviews per day. As a matter of fact, I once had 1,520 visits in one day and that was when I reported Kefee's death.

Seriously, I couldn't have done it without you guys. You all made it possible! I planted, you guys watered and God gave the increase. Lol!!!

My sincere gratitude to all Tessy Nkennor's Blog Readers who Bookmark and refresh Tessy Nkennor's Blog on daily basis. Thanks to Gold Collections Hats, St Iyke Clothing, Just Ushers Inc, Agapekiss Publishers, CV Chore, Golden Spoon Magazine amongst others. Thanks for placing advert on my blog. Thanks for believing in me even when I was just starting out.

I also wish to express a deep appreciation to my entire family and friends for their supports and encouragement that knows no bounds.

I must admit that lots of people had really encouraged me to move on, cheering me to go for it, reminding me everyday through their comments that I can do it, but I can't begin to tell you how much criticism I endured from friends, fans and families. While some of them were claiming I have no right to report news about men of God, criticising my style of blogging, many of them condemned me anytime I report unfavourable news about men of God, telling me I'll soon pack up.

There are also some family, friends and colleagues who choose to ignore my blog even when they keep seeing my post everyday. A lot of them heard about my blog, even stumbled on my posts, but never care to visits or drop comments and it's when a friend mention that they read a particular news on my blog that they revealed they've seen or heard about my blog.

To all of them am saying a BIG Thank You!

Your criticism gave me wings to fly. It gave me more determination to move on. It gave me the confidence to want to prove to you that I can do all things through Christ that strengthens me and am thanking you for being part of my vision. Lol!!!

It was during the 6th week that a friend who's also a blogger asked me why I want to go into blogging asking if I want to be like so-so-so and so or I want to make money like some successful bloggers. Seriously, I don't think I owe anyone an apology or explanation!

So I laughed and I ended the chat. She sent me an offline message advising me that if I restrict my blogging to gospel stuffs alone I will not go far and I will not be able to attract advertisement from giant companies. To prove she's right, she gave me 3 months and Tessy Nkennor's Blog will become history.

Guess what, she was not the only one who called to tell me I will soon fold up, few other people, including two of my close friends. They sent me a private message on Facebook and even post comments on my blog saying I will soon get tired simply because they presume I won't have content to post since its all about gospel. Basically, they believe I don't have what it takes to blog.

What a lot of people don't understand is that am not blogging because I want to leave my name in the sand of time or make money or what have you. Am into blogging because of my passion for writing. I write everyday and when am not speaking or mentoring young ladies to be role models of our generation am either writing a script or an article. I’m in a very committed relationship with speaking and writing, and yes, we are very happy together. Lol!!!

I have more than a thousand write-ups sitting in my computer, more are fighting in my head to let themselves out and it's killing me that am the only one reading them.

My first thought was to start a newsletter or a magazine to make my writings public and free, but I put that aside not because of the money to produce them but how to reach a lot of people and with blogging I now reach a lot of people faster than I can blink.

So, if some haters still think am into blogging because I want to make money or I want to become the next 'blog queen', well they will keep hating while I keep getting bigger. I've not even started and they are getting angry, what if I now start blogging to my taste?

To cap it up, am going to be making some changes from now on and the first change am going to make on this blog is the name of the blog. As from now on, Tessy Nkennor's Blog will now be called...

Tessy Nkennor's Diary.

The others changes are sex, love, romance, relationship, marriage and dating gist that will now be posted on daily bases as this was the reason why I started blogging. All the gospel gist you have been reading on this blog are to test the waters. Love, Sex and marriage are the main reason for this blog!

There will also be other interesting varieties and side attractions, but you will get to see them as you keep visiting.
