84-year-old Nigerian cleric, John Olusola Ojo, has now paid the dowry of his 70 years old wife, Olabisi after being married to her for 46 years.

During a recent interview with Nigerian Tribune, Pastor Ojo revealed the reason behind the move.

According to him, he decided to honor his wife by going to pay her dowry in September 2018, years after her family initially disagreed on their union.

He explained that when he met Olabisi during his youth, he was very poor and also had come from a poor family background. Olabisi on the other hand, was from a privileged home.

At the time they met, she was living with her Uncle who was grooming her for one of his colleagues who worked as a driver at the Nigeria Railway Corporation.

AMAZING!!! JESUS PAINTING REPORTEDLY SURVIVES FIRE THAT DESTROYED 150-YEAR-OLD CHURCH

According to a report by The Boston Globe, a massive fire destroyed the First Baptist Church of Wakefield in Massachusetts Tuesday night  and the historic building was described as a total loss. But as workers were clearing the ashy remains of the church the next day, a Jesus painting was reportedly found on the scene of the fire.

Photos from the scene of the fire show a building inspector removing a nearly-pristine painting of Jesus, which once hung just inside the church’s front doors, according to The Boston Globe. Somewhat miraculously, the painting survived the devastating fire.

The image of Jesus emerging from the charred church gave worshipers some solace during the difficult time.

Former parishioner Susan Auld told the Globe that the Jesus painting will be given to a former pastor of the church..
